'The Twelve Cellists', it's a household name worldwide and everyone immediately knows it's those twelve from the Berliner Philharmoniker. For reasons unknown, they have never performed as an ensemble on any stage in our country. Yet these 12 travel the world as true cello apostles to inspire the general public for the cello and classical music. With success!
October 28, 2026 will be somewhat of a historic music date and not only Klassiek Centraal will be there, but hopefully you as a reader will manage to secure a spot in Studio 4 of Flagey in Brussels. The ladies and gentlemen cellists will spoil you with a very varied program, not too serious classical music, there must be 'schwung' in it and after all it's about a first introduction in person. It will be a mixture of various pieces arranged for the ensemble – original compositions for 12 cellos are not exactly easy to come by – and the atmosphere is guaranteed.
Exclusive contest for free tickets
Organizer Yunison expects the hall to be fully booked quickly. We may, yes indeed, exclusively draw some tickets, 5 x 2 tickets. It may seem a bit more difficult to find the right answers to the three questions below and the mandatory tiebreaker question, but who wouldn't want to make a special effort to be able to enjoy this unique concert for free?
