Denis Kozhukhin

Denis Kozjoechin (Nizhny Novgorod, 1986) is a Russian pianist.

The pianist comes from a musical family. His father is a composer and conducts children's choirs. He received piano lessons from his mother at a young age. Denis' brother is also a talented pianist. Both received lessons from Dmitri Bashkirov in Madrid. In 2010 the pianist is based in Stuttgart where he is preparing for his master's degree in music.

According to him, a performer must be able to communicate well with the listener.

He achieved third prize in 2006 at the Leeds International Pianoforte Competition.
In 2010 he won first prize at the Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd. The pianist is enthusiastic about the organization of this demanding competition. This concerns both the organization itself and the accommodation in host families for the duration of the competition.
