From 7 to 9 November 2025, Antwerp will once again become the mecca of guitar music. The Antwerp Guitar Festival, organized by Rode Productions in CC De Klap in Deurne, offers three days of a unique mix of concerts, masterclasses, exhibitions and international competitions. This festival is a tribute to the versatility of the guitar, and allows visitors to experience the art of this instrument in all its facets.
A world-class programme
The line-up of the Antwerp Guitar Festival 2025 is particularly impressive. The festival welcomes Brazilian Yamandú Costa, a master of the seven-string guitar, who effortlessly switches between different genres such as choro, samba and tango. Costa is a world-renowned guitarist who combines his virtuosity with deep musical expression.
Russian Grisha Goryachev is also on the programme. Goryachev, an international-level flamenco virtuoso, delivers a performance that radiates both fiery passion and technical mastery. German guitarist Sönke Meinen, known for his innovative approach to fingerstyle and classical guitar, promises a fresh mix of styles that is both innovative and accessible.
We can also look forward to performances by Zsófia Boros (Hungary), who gained recognition at the major ECM label, and the elegant Marco del Greco from Italy, whose versatility and refinement make him one of the top guitarists of his generation.
Florian Palier from Austria and Jan Depreter, a familiar name in the Belgian guitar world, will also make their appearance. As a grand finale, the Guitar Heroes Orchestra led by Stijn Denys will take the stage for a collective guitar celebration that showcases the versatility of the instrument in all its glory.
A festival for all the senses
In addition to the impressive concerts, the festival features a guitar and makers exhibition, where enthusiasts and professionals can indulge in unique instruments and construction techniques. There are also lectures that highlight the musical and historical aspects of the guitar. Felipe Conde, one of the world's most renowned guitar makers, will give a lecture on 100 years of guitar tradition, offering an in-depth look at the role of the instrument over the decades.

The Antwerp Guitar Festival has continued to grow since its first edition in 2010 into an international reference in the field of guitar music.
