Dirk Brossé and concertmaster Jo Vercruysse pose proudly by the recently planted trees of the future Prima La Musica Bos, together with the regional manager Brabantse Wouden and the forester of the Hallerbos. Thanks to this forest, the Hallerbos will grow by 1.5 hectares. The Hallerbos is especially known to the general public for the countless wood hyacinths that annually transform the forest floor into a blue carpet.
Dirk Brossé composed the beautiful music for the nature documentary 'Onze Natuur'. Together with Natuurpunt, the Agency for Nature and Forests wanted to give him and his concertmaster a forest with their own name as thanks. That is why they rolled up their sleeves for their very own Prima La Musica Bos. With that name, they honor their chamber orchestra Prima La Musica – er, trees.
