Frank Van Laecke had just received a Golden Label from Klassiek Centraal for the production 'The Litlle Mermaid' and is already winning prizes again with another production. Together with Alain Platel and his Les Ballets C de la B, Van Laecke directed 'En avant marche' at NTGent in the Outstanding Touring Production category. The Dora Mavor Moore Award is a prize that is awarded annually by the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts, honoring theater, dance and opera productions. Named after Dora Moore, who contributed to the founding of Canadian professional theater. The award has been presented since 1978. Each winner receives a bronze statuette made after the original by John Romano.
