The house orchestra Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen will perform for the first time under its new chief conductor Martijn Dendievel (° 1995). Dendievel was recently awarded the Flemish Ultima Cultuurprijs voor Muziek 2025, which only sharpens the expectations for his Ghent debut.
All provisionally confirmed names can be found on the Bijloke website. The complete programme will go online on Friday 9 May at 11:00. A week later, on Wednesday 14 May at 20:00, director Geert Riem and his programming team will present the new festivals and special projects during a publicly accessible season presentation in the Concert Hall.
