On Thursday, November 9, Festival d'Aix-en-Provence received with great honor the Best Festival Award during the International Opera Awards 2023 ceremony at the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw, Poland. This prestigious distinction, previously won in 2014 in the same category, is a recognition of the remarkable 75th edition and an acknowledgment of the impressive work of the festival team and the bold artistic programming.
The INTERNATIONAL OPERA AWARDS, organized by the Opera Award Foundation, is an annual event that honors the best creative talents in the international opera world, with nominees from more than 26 countries.
The ceremony was live streamed on Opera Vision and remains available for on-demand viewing until December 21, 2023.
