The month of September is traditionally marked by the Open Monumentendagen, an event that also offers a not-to-be-missed opportunity at the Koninklijk Opera van Wallonië-Luik to take a look behind the scenes. A Glimpse Behind the Scenes of La Traviata
Visitors have the opportunity on 8 September to admire up close the beautiful sets of Verdi's opera La Traviata, which is on the program in September. There are both free and inclusive guided tours available that will take you into the world of opera design.A Unique Performance by Young People
In addition to the guided tours, visitors can also enjoy a special performance inspired by the themes of La Traviata. This production was written and directed by Marie Neyrinck, in collaboration with young people from youth services. Under the guidance of an opera singer, these young artists present a performance that is the result of a year of collaboration with the organizations AMO Reliance, CIAJ and Article27.
