The Music Factory series of the Koninklijk Filharmonisch Orkest van Luik (OPRL) is back! An ideal opportunity to get acquainted with the orchestra, with short musical fragments explained in a lighthearted and humorous way by Pierre Solot. Due to the great success of this concept, the OPRL is expanding the concert series with new dates, every Thursday at 6:30 pm. The concerts are accessible to everyone from age 13 and free for young people under 26!
Pierre Solot, musician, pedagogue and radio and theater maker, takes the audience into the enchanting world of symphonic music. With the concert series "Music Factory" he offers an accessible formula that continues to captivate audiences. To meet this growing demand, the OPRL has decided to double the four planned concerts of the 2024-2025 season. In addition to the traditional Wednesday evening concerts at 6:30 pm, visitors can now also attend the repeat on Thursday evening. Ticket sales have opened for the first two concerts: "Pirates on the Podium" in October and "Forbidden Notes" in November.

A relaxed and interactive musical experience around an original theme, featuring numerous musical fragments from different periods. Pierre Solot unravels the stories and anecdotes behind the music and takes the audience "into the orchestra". His humorous and enlightening commentary enhances the experience of a live concert and offers listeners unique insights.
