Since its foundation in 1981, the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart has been an essential raison d'être for Frans Brüggen and his Orkest van de Achttiende Eeuw. It is therefore not surprising that Mozart is the most represented composer in the orchestra's discography on GLOSSA. The recordings with outstanding soloists such as Joyce di Donato, Thomas Zehetmair and Cyndia Sieden are summarized in this box with the aptly named A Life with Mozart and supplemented with another acclaimed recording from the post-Frans Brüggen period.
