Aleksander Debicz: Magnolia

"Magnolia" is the 6th album by Aleksander Dębicz and contains exclusively original compositions. Aleksander decided to combine the roles of composer, pianist and producer and recorded the vast majority of this music - with the exception of the piano part - in his new home studio. He invited great musicians - with whom he collaborates most and who have become his best friends: countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński, guitarist Łukasz Kuropaczewski, cellist Marcin Zdunik, folk flutist Michał Żak and hornist Konrad Gołda. The pieces of "Magnolia" are cinematic and the entire album has a soundtrack structure. As a producer, his approach to these compositions is expressed in the use of various modern postproduction techniques. Some pieces were written so that one musician performs multiple parts. In "Cedar Tree", for example, Jakub Józef Orliński sings multiple layers and thus forms the entire vocal ensemble. Magnolia by Aleksander Dębicz, with release date April 19, 2024, contains the following tracks: "Orchid", "Illusion", "Doubt", "Rain" and more. This version of Magnolia appears as a 1xLP.
