Atalia

The dreadful Atalia has exterminated the entire royal family to secure her power and rules mercilessly over Jerusalem. But seven years later, the high priest is determined to put an end to her tyranny and joins forces with General Ormano and the wise old Nourrice to place the young Joas, the only survivor of the massacre, on the throne.
