With Bachs Horns Solomon's Knot presents an original album that places three works by Johann Sebastian Bach in a new dramatic context – without losing their historical spirit or musical ambition. Central to this is the so-called "Hunt Cantata" (Was mir behagt, ist nur die münchter Jagd, BWV 208), flanked by the solemn Mass in F major (BWV 233) and the Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 in F major (BWV 1046), which is performed here in a fascinating way as a tonal prelude and as an integral part of the cantata.
