Georg Friedrich Haas Violinkonzert Nr. 2

The world premiere recording of an important work by Georg Friedrich Haas, one of the world's most renowned living composers: the Violin Concerto No. 2 was composed in 2017 for Miranda Cuckson, with whom the composer has been collaborating for a long time. It premiered that same year with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ilan Volkov. This recording contains Miranda's live performance of Georg Friedrich Haas's Violin Concerto No. 2 from November 24, 2023 at the legendary Wiener Musikverein with the ORF Symphony Orchestra conducted by Markus Poschner. It is complemented by her recording of the terrae fine for solo violin.
