20 years after the death of the legendary Italian conductor Carlo Maria Giulini, his studio recordings for Warner Classics have been remastered in high definition for the first time from the original tapes by the Art et Son studio. They have been compiled in a 60-CD box and contain his legendary recordings for Columbia, HMV, Pathé and Electrola. The box also includes previously unreleased material: the overture to Der Freischütz (1969), the stereo version of the 'Spring' and 'Summer' concertos from The Four Seasons, a rehearsal of 'Winter' (1955) and excerpts from Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony (1962).
