G.O.M.P.

Under the abbreviation G.O.M.P. cellist Luca Pincini presents a solo programme whose connecting element is the space between people and sounds that is experienced in the cinema, where nuances of affection, anticipation and memory come to light close to silence. Two of the works presented here assume that precisely the "in-between" preserves the density of meaning and that the cello, with its voice resembling human breath, can transform this into sound matter. From the strict concentration of Philip Glass and the clarity of Michiru Ōshima to the sound laboratory of Ennio Morricone and the introverted "Au revoir", a composition by the cellist.
