Vladimir Feltsman
Pianist Vladimir Feltsman says about this album: 'The quest for our true home is an eternal task, regardless of our historical or cultural background. The goal of this journey is not to return to a specific place on the map or to retrieve lost memories, but to discover our true home within ourselves, where we all come from and where we will return. The works brought together in this album have long been good companions on my quest for beauty, on my "journey home". They have brought me much joy and precious moments of discovery and realization, for which I am grateful. These works, which are so important to him, are by the composers Edvard Grieg, Pjotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Johann Sebastian Bach.
