Félicien Brut also comes from the land of "musette", the lively accordion music in three/four time signatures. Many still remember his impressive performance at the opening of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, and he is the first accordion player permanently signed by Warner / Erato. Under the motto-like title "L'accordéoniste: Préludes, Valses & Envols", he presents a brilliant new album, two and a half years after his debut on the label "J'ai deux Amours". On this album, Félicien Brut, who was recently proclaimed by the prestigious newspaper "Le Figaro" as "the first ambassador of the accordion in classical music", brings together all facets of his talent. From timeless works by great masters such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Frédéric Chopin and Johannes Brahms to modern compositions by Franck Angelis, Petri Makkonen and Evgeni Derbenko, he combines classical heritage with the spirit and liveliness of musette.
