Le Pays de nos Desirs

Véronique Gens and Susan Manoff were the patrons of the Académie Orsay-Royaumont in 2024. Under their patronage, four duos of young singers and pianists assembled a programme in which visual and musical forms are interwoven. These include the masters of song and melody - Franz Schubert, Claude Debussy, Henri Duparc - but also lesser-known composers such as Rebecca Clarke, Ivor Gurney and Isang Yun. The album on b-records presents the successful work of these young musicians.
