Symphonic Matacic This is the first complete edition of Supraphon recordings by legendary Croatian conductor Lovro von Matacic (1899-1985) with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. The box contains unique historical recordings of six great symphonies from the Romantic era. The recordings were made between 1959 and 1980 and present one of the most remarkable conductors of his generation from a lesser-known perspective, since von Matacic is better known worldwide for his opera recordings, which makes this Supraphon box with orchestra-only recordings unique.
