Pierre Slinckx studied at the Belgian art academy ARTS2 under Claude Ledoux, Jean-Pierre Deleuze, Jean-Luc Fafchamps and Denis Pousseur, among others. In 2013 he received the Henri Pousseur Prize. M#1 for string quartet and electronics integrates new technology into the intimate world of chamber music, where the musicians involved must listen carefully to each other.
