Manifesto on Love

Debut Album The Barbican Quartet won the ARD Music Competition in 2022 and has since become one of the most sought-after young string quartet ensembles. The ensemble is now releasing its debut album on GENUIN with works by Janáček and Schumann. The contrast between the expansive bows of Schumann and the nervous blocks and ecstatic outbursts of Janáček could not be greater - and yet the youthful quartet unites them as an expression of the human need for love, for togetherness.
