Pangea

Violinist Lea Brückner's debut album Pangea combines the idea of expanding and highlighting the musical diversity of classical music. The selection of works sketches a journey through nine countries, discovering musical styles such as impressionism, minimalism, jazz and folklore and their influence on composers. Alongside well-known names such as Maurice Ravel, Arvo Pärt and Bartok, names such as Aleksey Igudesman with his performative Flamenco Fantasy, Polish composer Grazyna Bacewicz, Coleridge Taylor Perkinson and William Kroll are also represented. Another highlight is the famous Melody by Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk. Lea Brückner is accompanied by Tamilla Guliyeva (piano) and Gábor Ladányi (guitar).
