Following the success of their collaboration on Calen-O: Songs from the North of Ireland (DCD34187), Northern Irish mezzo-soprano Carolyn Dobbin and her accompanist Iain Burnside return to the rich, but sometimes still undervalued musical heritage of the historic province of Ulster. The programme features songs by composers Dorothy Park (1904-1990) and Joan Trimble (1915-2000).
