Following the cd Mr Handel in the Pub (jpc 10953779), the ensemble I Zefirelli goes one pub further, so to speak, with the album Telemann in der Taverne and moves along the thin line that existed at the time between "serious music" and light music through the Hamburg scene around 1720, where Baroque and folk music are placed side by side once again.
