The organ of Vincenzo Colombi in Valvasone is a rare example of the lagoon school. The instrument from 1532 / 33 with ¼-comma meantone tuning, low wind pressure, pitch a' = 492, 5 Hz and a Ripieno ranging from Tenori 12' to XXIX, with Flauto in XV and Fiffaro, has a sound palette characterized by counterpoint and toccata figurations. The Valvasone organ book brings together masters associated with San Marco and moves between ricercari, toccatas and canzoni da sonare within an emerging rhetoric of affects.
