Trio Andrea Palladio

Alfred Hill incorporated Maori and Aboriginal influences in his works, Eugène Jancourt was an innovator of the bassoon - neither of them saw the inside of a conservatory in their youth and their musical careers were rather atypical. And so it goes on: René de Boisdeffre made his mark as an excellent amateur, Giovanni Paggi made an international career as an oboist rather than as a composer. The enigmatic flutist Philippe Gattermann left behind only a handful of refined compositions. The Andrea Palladio Trio with oboe, bassoon and organ is dedicated to these remarkable but overlooked personalities.
