French-Swiss viola player Mathis Rochat presents British repertoire for viola and orchestra, combining William Walton's famous concerto with rarely recorded works by Herbert Howells and Arthur Benjamin. With Hungarian-Nicaraguan-American violinist Abigél Králik and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales conducted by Howard Griffiths, the programme explores styles and lesser-known representatives of British music from the first half of the 20th century.
