Züricher Streichquartett präsentiert Dvorak

With the new Dvořák recording, the Merel Kwartet presents a powerful, stylistically rich portrait of a composer who to this day is still regarded as the embodiment of musical humanism. Antonín Dvořák combined melodic directness, harmonic inventiveness and an unmistakable warm expression in his chamber music. This recording brings together central works from his late creative phase and supplements them with two precious rarities in delightful arrangements for string quartet.
