Boekhandel Stad Leest en De Morgen: An evening with Connie Palmen

A new Connie Palmen. After eleven years of waiting, one of the greatest living Dutch-language writers releases her seventh novel. She will present it on 23 September by invitation of De Morgen and Boekhandel Stad Leest exclusively in Antwerp. She is one of the greatest from Dutch-language literature. And now Connie Palmen, after eleven years of waiting, releases her latest novel. With Johnnie Walker, the Dutch writer (once again) directs her gaze at her own past and her relationship with alcohol. By invitation of De Morgen and Boekhandel Stad Leest, she will present the book on Wednesday 23 September in the Antwerp AMUZ. Since October 2022, Boekhandel Stad Leest has been working together with De Morgen. In this way, they organized sold-out evenings with, among others, psychiatrist Dirk De Wachter, philosopher Yuval Noah Harari, artist Rinus Van de Velde, photographers Stephan Vanfleteren and Anton Corbijn and authors Paolo Cognetti, Ilja Leonard Pfeijffer, Tommy Wieringa and Geert Mak.
