Musicians from the Concertgebouworkest perform colorful music about dark themes — Death, the devil and hell, in all their different guises, inspired Saint-Saëns, Janáček, Crumb, Kagel and Adès to create boundlessly inventive music full of seductive dance tunes and strange sound effects.
