Free Open Air concert 'DE OPENING'

Philzuid opens DE OPENING

On Friday evening, Philzuid presents the festive opening concert of DE OPENING at Stadhuisplein. From 20:30, visitors can enjoy a special evening full of music, surprising collaborations and performances by various artists. The presentation of the concert is hosted by Soy Kroon.

Eindhoven is the second city to serve as host city of DE OPENING (a continuation of the earlier UITMARKT in Amsterdam). In the last weekend of August (28–30 August), the city provides the vibrant backdrop for the kick-off of the national cultural season. Philzuid contributes at several moments to this festive weekend.

The opening concert conducted by chief conductor Duncan Ward begins at 20:30 (pre-program from 20:00), is free for everyone and takes place at Stadhuisplein. Additionally, the concert will be broadcast live via NPO Start and Omroep Brabant, so those staying at home can also enjoy this…
