Hildur Guðnadóttir celebrates 20 years of artistic creation with an orchestral performance with BRYGGEN. Music from Joker, Tár and Chernobyl, supplemented with new work and light design by Theresa Baumgartner, between experimental pop and contemporary music. In 2026 Hildur Guðnadóttir celebrates twenty years of artistic creation with a new orchestral performance. Twenty years after her first solo album Mount A (2006) she brings a selection of her most beloved work, supplemented with new compositions and live light design by Theresa Baumgartner. The Icelandic composer, cellist and singer moves at the intersection of experimental pop and contemporary music. In her work she explores a broad sonic palette, from intimate simplicity to layered soundscapes. She gained international recognition with her award-winning film music and the music for the series Chernobyl. For her debut at deSingel she performs together with BRYGGEN. The programme includes, among others, her soundtracks for Tár and Joker, new arrangements from her albums and new work.
