New notes As always, there is also room for new notes that have what it takes to become evergreens. This time harpist Remy van Kesteren stops by with his own work for harp and orchestra. The musician who received the Dutch Music Prize in 2016 has developed into an adventurous harpist and a gifted composer of music that is both striking and exciting. Matthäus-Passion The Classical Top 400 began in 2012 as the Hart & Ziel List and has grown into the classical equivalent of the Top 2000. Listeners of NPO Klassiek determine the list by voting. Bach's Matthäus-Passion has been the Bohemian Rhapsody of the classics since the beginning of the list. The Radio Filharmonisch Orkest always crowns the broadcast week of the list with a delightful live concert.
