Suze Milius / Annelinde Bruijs / Maartje Wortel – A View From Nowhere

Four performers attempt to formulate universal truths and banish doubt. In an absurd and philosophical game around language, thinking and stammering, the desire for certainty is slowly undermined. Four figures step onto the grass of a golf course. They don't know each other personally, but are all four members of the Association Against Doubt. They come with a goal: to formulate universal ideas about the world and about being human, so that doubt can finally be banished. Hesitantly they begin to think, talk, stammer and golf. Nobody gets anywhere. Not in thinking, not in talking and not in golfing - perhaps in stammering. Yes, perhaps in stammering. In this performative work, the tension between the desire for certainty and the failure of language is developed in a composition of an hour and a half.
