The Captive Nightingale

Australian soprano Elena Xanthoudakis is forging her career in Europe to many accolades. She has been described as “intoxicating with her cut-diamond clarity of tone, elegant legato, even crescendos and aching trills.” (Herald Sun) Accompanied by clarinetist Jason Xanthoudakis and pianist Clemens Leske, brilliant musicians in their own right, this new album from Signum features German romantic pieces for soprano, clarinet, and piano.
