Musica Ficta is an ensemble passionately devoted to ealy Latin American and Spanish repertoire. The quality of its performances and its experience have made it one of the most distringuished early music ensemble in South America. The confluence of the guitar and popular rhythms creates the backdrop for this collection. The selected works represent a sampler that captures the enthusiasm of popular music which enticed the sensibility of the scholar composer, an amalgam that emerged from the convergence of both worlds.
