Von Montag 25. Mai bis Samstag 30. Mai läuft das Finale des Königin-Elisabeth-Wettbewerbs Cello 2026. An jedem Finalabend interpretieren zwei Finalisten das Pflichtwerk, das speziell für das Finale dieses Cellowettbewerbs von Fang Man geschrieben wurde: Odes to the Tidings of Flowers. Jeder Kandidat führt als zweites Werk ein Konzert nach Wahl mit dem Belgian National Orchestra auf, geleitet von Antony Hermus. Wie schon seit vielen Jahren ist der 'place to be' der Henry Le Boeuf Saal im Palais des Beaux-Arts (Bozar).
Jeder Finalabend beginnt pünktlich um 20.15 Uhr. Wer nicht vor Ort sein kann, kann alles genau über die Website des KEW verfolgen, wo alles direkt gestreamt wird. Das Verfolgen ist auch über die öffentlichen Rundfunksender
VRT (VRT Max, Klara) und RTBF (Musique 3) möglich.
Während der Applaus noch in der Halle widerklingt, können Sie auf Klassiek Centraal die Befunde pro Kandidat lesen.
