Das zweite Album des Choir of St John's mit ihrem neuen Dirigenten - Christopher Gray. Im Mittelpunkt des Programms stehen die stimmungsvollen Quatre Motets pour le temps de Noël von Francis Poulenc und die herzerwärmenden Three Carol-Anthems von Herbert Howells, der den Chor hier in St John's während des Zweiten Weltkriegs dirigierte. Weitere Nummern sind unter anderem das wunderbare Weihnachtslied There is a flower, das John Rutter 1985 für den Chor schrieb, und das bezaubernde Peace on earth von Master of the King's Music, Errollyn Wallen. "Mein Ziel mit diesem Album war es nicht, mit dem Repertoire Neuland zu betreten, sondern dafür zu sorgen, dass Klassiker für die heutige Generation frisch bleiben" - Christopher Gray
