Anna Fedorova

Anna Borisyvna Fedorova (Ukrainian: Анна Бори́сівна Федорова) (Kiev, 27 February 1990) is a Ukrainian pianist. As the daughter of musicians, she began playing piano at the age of five. A year later she was already performing for audiences. She studied at the Lysenko State Music Lyceum in Kiev where she graduated in 2008. She also studied in Imola with Leonid Margarius. Fedorova has won 14 international piano competitions, including;

International Rubinstein In Memoriam piano competition
Second Tbilisi International Young Pianists Competition as well as "Best pianist of the competition"
Dorothy McKenzie prizes at the International Keyboard Institute and Festival

Anna Fedorova's repertoire consists largely of music from the Romantic period by Chopin, Tsjaikovski, Skrjabin and Rachmaninov. She became world-famous via YouTube, where her performance of Rachmaninov's 2nd piano concerto at the Concertgebouw was viewed millions of times. She also plays chamber music and was in 2017-2018 artistic director of the International Chamber Music Festival Ede in the Edesche Concertzaal.
