Nino Gvetadze

Nino Gvetadze (Tbilisi, 14 October 1981) is a Georgian pianist.
Gvetadze grew up in Tbilisi. At the age of 6, she already performed as a soloist with orchestras. She studied from 1998 at the State Conservatory of Tbilisi and subsequently at the Royal Conservatory The Hague and the Conservatory of Amsterdam.
She received lessons from, among others, Veronika Tumanishvili, Nodar Gabunia, Nana Khubutia, Paul Komen and Jan Wijn. In 2008 she won the second prize, the audience prize and the press prize at the International Franz Liszt Piano Competition. In 2010 she won the Borletti-Buitoni Trust Prize for young musicians. She performed with, among others, the Residentieorkest, the Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest, the Brussels Philharmonic, the Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest, Amsterdam Sinfonietta, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and the Münchner Philharmoniker. In the 2017-2018 season she was artist in residence of the Edesche Concertzaal. Since 2021 she has been artistic director of the Delft Chamber Music Festival.
