Sander De Keere

Sander De Keere (Gent, 10 August 1992) is a Flemish musicologist, musician and radio presenter at Klara.
De Keere studied musicology at Ghent University between 2010 and 2014. He graduated with a master's thesis on the evolution of minimal music in the oeuvre of American composer Philip Glass.
De Keere has worked for the Flemish broadcasting organization VRT since 2013. He started behind the scenes as a music editor at Klara before stepping behind the microphone himself in August 2014. De Keere became a regular presenter of the weekend programme 'Iedereen Klassiek'. Since 2019 he has presented the morning programme Espresso. In addition, De Keere also makes videos for Klara's YouTube channel (Iedereen Klassiek). He was also classical music editor for the talk show Van Gils en Gasten on Eén.
Between 2016 and 2018, Sander De Keere was a freelance journalist at De Morgen and wrote about classical music.
Under his own name, De Keere also releases his own music. In April 2019 his electronic debut single 'Pulse' was released. His second piano single 'It Was Night' came out on 21 February 2020.

In the summer of 2014, De Keere presented the radio programme 'Promenade' on Klara. The following season he became presenter of 'Iedereen Klassiek', in which he played well-known classical music pieces. Following this programme, De Keere began making videos online for YouTube.
