From late afternoon to deep into the night on Saturday, December 3rd, De Bijloke is in the grip of contemporary music. In all halls, corridors and corners resound improv and jazz, experiment and multimedia, electronics and vocals. Short performances, installations, performances: decide for yourself where your interest lies, where you pause and what you want to experience again. - Blind IO: Bram De Looze, Teun Verbruggen, Ingrid Laubrock and drum machine pioneer Ikue Mori let us crack the Kraakhuis like a New York underground club
- Fast nur Luft: Tomma Wessel and Centre Henri Pousseur bring on a gigantic Paetzold recorder and electronics works by Eva Reiter and Heleen Van Haegenborgh
- Machine: Joachim Badenhorst, Nora Fischer and Touki Delphine play spacepop and cumbia to the rhythm of … an industrial drying machine
- Negative Space: Renée Pervernagie makes live drawings from dark to light and inspires violinist Elisabeth Klinck in a lab session to immersive interventions from light to dark
