The story of "L'âme des poètes" begins in 2021 at the Koninklijk Conservatorium van Antwerpen, where An-Sofie and Eleonora met each other during their studies. After a successful collaboration during An-Sofie's master recital, they decided to continue their musical journey with a special programme that focuses on French romanticism.
A journey through romantic France
In their new programme, the two musicians take the audience on a journey through the picturesque world of romantic France. The concert offers a carefully curated selection of works by great French composers such as Claude Debussy, Gabriel Fauré and Francis Poulenc, based on texts by renowned poets including Paul Verlaine, Paul Bourget and Victor Hugo.
Unique presentation
The duo chooses a special approach in which poetry and music reinforce each other. First, the poems are recited in their pure form, after which they come to life in the musical setting with the combination of voice and harp. This approach allows the audience to fully appreciate both the literary and musical beauty of the works.

The concert takes place on Sunday 17 November 2024 at 15:00 in the Sint-Benedictuskerk in Mortsel (Dorpsstraat 1). Tickets cost 14 euros for adults and 5 euros for children under 12 years old.
