Registrations for this tenth singing edition closed on Wednesday 7 December 2022. 412 singers between 18 and 33 years old applied as candidates. In January, the candidates' videos were viewed behind closed doors by an international jury, chaired by Bernard Foccroulle and consisting of: Marc Clémeur, Helmut Deutsch, Sumi Jo, Sophie Karthäuser, José Van Dam and Reinoud Van Mechelen.
