We just nominated Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort's latest CD with a Golden Label at Klassiek Centraal – early May we'll find out if this Golden Label CD is selected – or we learn that there's still a chance to make a Mozart trip to Austria together with the pianist. A special experience.
The trip runs from 17 to 20 May. During the journey, a visit is planned to and around the beautiful Melk Abbey, a sumptuous building complex laden with golden rococo flourishes. The abbey was more than a sober dwelling place for praying monks; it was a power centre where the intertwining of faith and politics were inseparable in its glorious years. The entire area around the abbey is full of castles in the mountainous surroundings.
