The Contius Foundation opens the concert season this coming Saturday, April 26 with twelve hours of music and pleas for peace. We are organizing this marathon for the third time together with Sint-Michiel Vredeskerk and the Leuven Peace Movement as part of Leuven's city festival Warm Alarm. From noon until midnight, organists and speakers alternate.
On the same day, powerful organ tones will ring out in fourteen European cities as a musical call for dialogue and peace. In Leuven, organists, choirs and speakers share their commitment to peace, climate and social justice. For twelve hours, boundaries blur, voices blend and solidarity breathes.

Visual artist Roeland Kotsch will let himself be carried at 2pm and 8pm by the speaker's narrative and the sounds of the music and, improvising, building, deconstructing and rebuilding, create a painting before the audience's eyes, moving from light to dark and back again.
