Advent in Antwerp: Waelrant Kamerkoor and Kinderkoor+ bring hope and light
On the first Sunday of Advent, December 1, 2024, a special duo concert will take place at AMUZ Antwerpen. The Waelrant Kamerkoor and Kinderkoor+ take the audience on a musical journey full of anticipation and hope, under the title "Spes Mea" (My Hope).

The concert offers a varied program with works from different periods and styles. From the baroque splendor of J.S. Bach's "Komm Jesu Komm" to the contemporary sounds of Ola Gjeilo's "Serenity", there is something for everyone. The choirs sing alternately together and separately, accompanied by a small instrumental ensemble in which the cello plays a leading role.

Under the expert guidance of Marleen De Boo and accompanied by viola player Lucas Aerts, cellist Eva Van den Broeck and violinist Victor Van Gorp, this concert promises to be an unforgettable experience.
