Her intensive study of Liszt's works has sharpened her sense of poetry and color. Beatrice Berrut knows how to transform her piano into a veritable orchestra, to shape the sound material, to create a deeply poetic atmosphere and to lead us into a dream world. The musician, who grew up in nature, has retained her childlike soul and developed an imaginary universe populated by fantastic fairy-tale figures, whose rules she does not hesitate to shake up. With the help of the art of transcription and composition, she tells stories in her own way, with sensual joy, frivolity and chaos. In this programme, the magic of fairy tales mingles with the stuff that dreams are made of. It begins with fragments from the great ballet repertoire and ends with familiar themes from the film classics "The Witch and the Wizard" (1963) and "Harry Potter".
