After a first part, published in 2011, devoted to Bologna and its first cello repertoire (Vitali, Gabrielli, Jacchini) and reissued in this box, he presents a new recording devoted to Naples with the musicians of Basses Réunies, from the Renaissance composer Diego Ortiz to the galant and virtuosic cello of Lanzetti ... and offers two contrasting viewpoints, two approaches that allow for a better understanding of the identity of this instrument. The instruments used here - Cocset plays a total of ten - testify to both this journey and the bond that has connected him for many years with his guitar maker Charles Riché.
